Jana Kramer is a country performer, singer and songwriter who rose to stardom in the world of television after she was chosen to play Alex in One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. The show featured her debut albums as country music and helped propel her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album from 2015, reached the Top Ten. The singer ended the decade by appearing for Dancing with the Stars and on several television shows, as well as an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised in the country genre. Though she had an acting and recording career however, her screen debut was in the horror independent film Dead/Undead (2002) in the midst of being at high school. After appearing as a guest on All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role on NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer next appeared in 90210 for the character of Portia Randson in 2008 through 2009 and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. In 2009 she joined One Tree Hill's ensemble in the role of Alex Dupre. Her contract was signed to Elektra Records during this time and dropped the country-rock single "I Will Not Go Down" in one episode. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was featured on her first complete album Jana Kramer. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked it among the Top Five. In the following years Kramer concentrated her acting career around film and music. She starred in several films including Heart of the Country 2013 along with Country Crush 2016, which was a hit with her fans. Her second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15, 2015. Her album, Thirty One was the Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy The album, as well as the duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed together helped the album reach number 3 in the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the chart for country albums. Her two-month appearance on the Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing 4th. That year she also had an adult contemporary smash by releasing the song "Feels Like" Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
